Our Wedding

We met in 2023 while living in Williamsburg, quickly bonding over our shared love for travel, our loved ones, and exploring New York City together. Over the next few years, we survived ups and downs together - new jobs, new apartments, and Michigan football wins and losses. After a perfect year living together in Brooklyn, we moved across the country to Sausalito, adopted our dog, Blue, and got engaged at our favorite spot on Rodeo Beach!We chose to get married in Northern Michigan because of its deep connection to the Wendel family. Chris’s grandparents lived on Lake Leelanau, and their home has been a special gathering place for the family for 70 years. We are excited to bring our loved ones to a place that holds so much personal history and to build our own lifelong connection to the area as we start our marriage.

The&nbsp;Delamar&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;lovely&nbsp;hotel&nbsp;with&nbsp;two&nbsp;pools,&nbsp;a&nbsp;restaurant,&nbsp;bar&nbsp;and&nbsp;is&nbsp;located&nbsp;right&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;water!&nbsp;We&nbsp;do&nbsp;not&nbsp;have&nbsp;a&nbsp;block&nbsp;here&nbsp;but&nbsp;we&nbsp;know&nbsp;our&nbsp;guests&nbsp;will&nbsp;love&nbsp;the&nbsp;location&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;hotel!&nbsp;

We&nbsp;love&nbsp;the&nbsp;Bayshore&nbsp;Hotel!&nbsp;It&#39;s&nbsp;right&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;water,&nbsp;walking&nbsp;distance&nbsp;to&nbsp;lots&nbsp;of&nbsp;restaurants&nbsp;and&nbsp;such,&nbsp;too!&nbsp;When&nbsp;booking,&nbsp;please&nbsp;reference&nbsp;the&nbsp;&#39;Bartleson&nbsp;/&nbsp;Wendel&#39;&nbsp;Block.&nbsp;
